Monday – Friday 10 am to 6 pm

Job Summary :
As an Benefits Counselor at Catamount Corporation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the understanding of benefits programs among both internal teams and external clients. You will be responsible for developing and delivering educational content, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that individuals have a comprehensive understanding of the various benefits offerings, with a focus on supplemental benefits.
Key Responsibilities :
Content Development:
Develop engaging and informative educational materials related to supplemental benefits.
Create training modules, presentations, and guides that effectively communicate complex benefit concepts.
Training Delivery:
Conduct training sessions for internal teams, ensuring a deep understanding of benefits programs and processes.
Collaborate with external clients to organize and deliver educational sessions tailored to their specific needs.
Employee Education:
Educate employees on their total benefits package, including major medical and retirement benefits.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among employees regarding their benefits.
Client Consultation:
Work closely with business owners and brokers to understand their educational needs.
Provide consultative support on creating customized education and training programs for clients.
Compliance and Policy Awareness:
Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and policy changes related to benefits.
Ensure that all training materials align with regulatory standards and best practices.
Feedback and Improvement:
Gather feedback from training sessions and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
Monitor the effectiveness of education initiatives and make recommendations for enhancements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the insurance or benefits industry.
Strong knowledge of supplemental benefits, major medical coverage, and retirement benefits.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to tailor educational content to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
